Instructions on how to install a client and join our team.

This section will go into detail about how to install the client. Eventually we will have step by step guides for setting up multi-GPU clients and the high performance CPU clients for the Core processors.

Installation instructions:

Stanford has a very easy to follow set of instructions. Or you may follow this as well. Please note that if you have any questions or need help, we are happy to help! (Link)

Download FAH Client http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=23582#p235600

Once the file is downloaded, double click on the .exe file as you would any other program. You will be greeted by the following screen:

Click next, agree to the terms and conditions, and so on until it is installing:

It only takes a few moments to install, once it's complete click close to exit the install program:

The first time you run the program, you will select a user name and the team number. It's important to type in team 111065 to join EVGA's Folding Team. If you are looking for bonus Point you will need a passkey. A note for new users. You will not see any bonus points until 10 Work Units (WU) have been turned in. Once those have been confirmed, you will get bonus points from then on. Please keep your Passkey in a safe place so that you do not have to get a new one down the road and have to do the ten WU's again:

One note for those Crunching and Folding on the same computer. Please select Advance Tab and make sure that "Slightly" is selected (Not lowest) and CPU @ 100% for maximum performance. It doesn't need to be checked at this time if the box is dedicated to a single cause. (IE. Folding or Crunching)

Finished product should look like this...

Here are a few command links...

And here...

Keep in mind both the CPU and GPU based programs will tax your system. Please keep a close eye on your system temperatures while folding. These programs are automatically configured to be run in the background without affecting performance much, but you may notice performance decreases while gaming, so EVGA does not recommend running these programs during gaming or other heavy-load scenarios.
