Does the EVGA Pro SLI bridge work the the 900 series graphics cards?

The Pro SLI bridges will provide SLI functionality with all 900 series cards, but will only light up with all GTX 980 graphics cards. The Pro SLI bridges will function but NOT light up with any model of GTX 970 graphics card with the exception of the 3973, 3975, 3978, 4975, 3979 model numbers.
