What's the difference between 3D TV play and 3D Vision Surround?

3D vision surround allows the user to have 3 monitors or TV's setup in and extended desktop format giving the user periphreal vision in many games. 3D vision surround also requires the user to purchase the Nvidia 3D Vision kit specifically as well.

3D TV Play is a purchase of software that allows you to utilize the 3D capabilities of your graphics card with 3D television sets. This allows the user to use the glasses that come with there TV, and has allowed for a larger list of supported television sets. 3D TV play is for use with one TV only. If you owned 3D vision, you can upgrade to 3D TV play.
