What is this file rtkhda64.sys, and why is it crashing or BSODing during bootup?

This file is part of the Realtek HD Audio driver, and if it is crashing the file is corrupted or damaged.

Reboot the system and go into safemode with networking.  Goto www.evga.com/support/drivers and in the menu select Mainboards - Audio Drivers - Download here and click GO.  Save the drive somewhere you can easily find it, like your desktop.  Next, download a copy of Driver Sweeper from https://downloads.guru3d.com/downloadget.php?id=1655&file=4&evp=c14f9f3787877eef9ef4b235b9146e96 at the bottom of the EULA press I accept and save the utility.  Once downloaded install the utility, then once in click on Analyse and Clean on the left side, it will open a window on the right with a series of checkboxes, please select Realtek Sound and click Clean in the bottom right corner.

Reboot into normal mode.  Reinstall Realtek Audio HD form the downloaded driver.
