PhysX uses NVIDIA CUDA technology, so if the motherboard GPU supports CUDA, then it can be used for PhysX. Generally running both graphics and PhysX on a motherboard GPU may not deliver the best experience; adding a discrete GeForce GPU significantly improves performance.
