FAQ

My graphics card emits a loud alarm sound when I turn on my system.

Last Update: 2009/05/14

This noise is a low power alarm, a safety feature of the card.

If you are experiencing this noise ensure that the 6 pin PCIe power adapter is plugged into the card.  You can plug this in directly from your power supply or using the provided adapter.  If using the adapter ensure that both 4 pin connections on the adapter are connected.  If only one is connected the alarm will sound.
