On the 780i, 780i FTW, 790i Ultra, 790i FTW, and 790i FTW Digital PWM boards the very topmost and very bottommost PCIe slots will be PCIe 2.0. The middle PCIe 16x slots will run at the PCIe 1.0 standard.
