I am enabling eSATA on the correct ports in the BIOS and Windows is not recognizing the drive.

SATA is hot swappable. Try disabling eSATA in the BIOS. Save and Exit the BIOS using F10 and reboot into Windows. It should now recognize the drive as connected.
