This may be due to a timing issue. Go in to the NVIDIA Control Panel under Display select “manage custom timings” and click on "create", and then select advanced down at the bottom right hand side, and there are options for “timing standard”. Select “CVT Reduced Blank”, click "test" and then click "ok".
