Go in to the BIOS upon boot and check the CPU temperature.  If it is overheating it will hit the threshold and power down the system to prevent damage.  If this is the case try re-applying the thermal paste and re-seating your CPU cooler. If the CPU is not overheating, try using another power supply and see if the system will boot properly.
