If you are doing any screen capturing with the XR1 capture device, and are getting screen flickering, this typically indicates an issue with HDCP protections. This is especially prevalent if you are capturing from something such as a DVD/Bluray player or a game console. To resolve the issue you may need to disable HDCP on the game console and/or disable HDCP in the XR1 RGB software which you can find in our download center.

Please go to: https://www.evga.com/support/download/ and then click on the "Other Products" tab. Using the dropdown menus, select Category > Capture Device, Part Number > All, Type > All. Then click on the download link to download the software.

From the XR1 RGB software, click on the "!" icon on the upper left corner.

Then under "HDCP" set to "Off"
