It is important that the drivers for the EVGA NU Audio card are correctly installed to ensure proper functioning. Once the NU Audio card is physically installed in the system, you will need to install the driver by following the instructions listed here:
1) Reboot the system before installing the driver package.
2) Download the latest NU Audio driver from our download center linked here: https://www.evga.com/support/download/
3) Ensure that any other audio device programs are closed before installing the NU Audio drivers. Any programs for any onboard motherboard audio, any other audio/sound cards in the system, or media playback software should all be closed before installing the NU Audio driver.
**If you are updating to a new version of the driver, please ensure that the NU Audio program is closed before updating.**
4) Run the NU Audio driver installer and then launch the program. If it does not immediately open, please check for the NU Audio program icon in the notification area of your taskbar.
