FAQ

What voltage RAM should I use for my X99?

Last Update: 2014/08/29

The X99 platform utilizes primarily low voltage RAM.  Standard voltage range for memory is 1.200V to 1.500V, DDR4 can function outside of that range, however that will require very specific memory, and  in some cases, possibly dedicated cooling.  EVGA X99 motherboards have a memory voltage range of 0.800V to 2.000V, please try to stay within the defined limits of the RAM set by the memory manufacturer.
