FAQ

The DisplayLink icon dissapeared, or my displays connected to my UV39+ no longer show an image. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but it didn't help.

First insure that the red LED is lit up on the UV39+ when it is plugged in. If there is no LED lit up, the device has failed and will need to be replaced. If the LED is lit, you will need to reinstall the software and drivers. There are some specific steps required to reinstall the DisplayLink software. Follow these steps exactly to reinstall the software and drivers.

1. Go to the Windows Control Panel, and under Programs and Features remove the DisplayLink Core Software and any other programs that have the same icon.

2. Download the DisplayLink Installation Cleaner found here: displaylink.com/support/sla.php. Run the program to remove any remaining DisplayLink software files and drivers that may be remaining.

3. Disconnect the UV39+ from the computer.

4. Download the latest software from the EVGA Download Center: www.evga.com/support/download/default.aspx. Under "Other Products", chose "UV+", "All", and "All" to pull up a list of the latest drivers.

5. Run Setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the software. Once the software installation is finishes, the window will close with no further prompt.

6. Now reconnect the UV39+ to the comptuer. A message should pop up about the drivers installing. The screen may flash black for a moment then come back up. This is normal. If your second monitor does not initialize, reboot the computer and both displays should come up upon restart.
