PrecisionX problems with Windows 8?

Last Update: 2012/11/01

We have seen where PrecisionX could have issues in Windows 8 if a user does an upgrade from Windows 7.
Common symptoms can include; the program may not load properly, games may crash or not even load up properly.

There are two ways to fix this:

1. Uninstall EVGA PrecisionX completely. (Go through Programs and Features and uninstall). We would also recommend to browse to the Precision directory in your hard drive and delete that to make sure all Precision files are removed. Then reinstall the latest version of PrecisionX and this should resolve the problem.

2. Reinstall Windows 8, using a clean install. (Full reformat and clean install).
