FAQ

Are blown capacitors covered under warranty?

Last Update: 2010/04/26

In the unlikley and unfortunate case your product somehow blows a capacitor it will generally be covered under warranty as a mechanical failure. If you physically altered or damaged the product the warranty would not cover the blown capacitor. Its a decision that is made by the RMA department after careful review. If your product does have a blown capacitor or other mechanical defect you will want to contact technical support and send pictures of the damage for a rough assessment of the situation, although no actual determination can be made until the RMA department has a chance to reivew the product first hand.
