EVGA InterView screen is scrambled or appears torn

1) Perform monitor reset on "Display Reset"

  

2) Auto Adjust via OSD (ON SCREEN DISPLAY)

 

3) Perform monitor self-test feature check to determine if scrambled screen appears in self-test mode

Self-Test Feature Check (STFC) allows users to check if the monitor works properly.  

  • 1. Turn off both your computer and the monitor
  • 2. Unplug the DMS cable from the back of the computer
  • 3. Turn on the monitor
  • 4. If the monitor is functioning properly, you will see a message similar to the illustration below
  • This box appears during normal operation if the video cable becomes disconnected or damaged.
  • 5. Turn off your monitor and reconnect the video cable; then turn on both your computer and the monitor.  
  • 6. If the power indicator remains amber after using the previous procedure, check your VGA card, cable, and computer system; your monitor is functioning properly.  

4) Check for bent or broken pins

5) Boot up in the "safe mode"
