ISSUE:
In some scenario a specific script required to install the software is not loaded in Windows Vista / Windows 7. This is due to tighten restrictions to prevent malicious code from gaining control. In normal situations and UAC enabled, this will not pose a problem. However many programs/installation require the script to function properly.
SOLUTION:
Here are the following steps to allow the proper installation of the UV+ in Vista / Windows 7
- Locate the windows command prompt (By Default: it’s located in Start – All Programs – Accessories – Command prompt). Do not open yet.
- Right click the shortcut and “Run as Administrator”. You must do this in order to run the following step.
- In the Command Line window type: "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" and press Enter (this should enable VBScripts on your PC, with a message saying "DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded" to confirm this).
