FAQ

The Xeno will not show up in the Device Manager, or during driver installation presents the message “There is no Killer Xeno in your system"

• First, check for the red LEDs on the side of the card itself.  If the LEDs are not on, it usually means the card is not receiving power.  Also check the link lights on the RJ-45 when the Ethernet cable is plugged in if the red LEDs are not visible.  If neither of the LEDs are lit, first ensure that the Xeno is seated well in the PCI slot by removing the card plugging back into the slot.  If this does not solve the issue, try switching to a new PCI-E slot (if there is one available) and checking for LEDs again – a different system is advisable also if there is one available.  If, in a new slot, the lights are still not coming on, it is most likely a dead card and an RMA is warranted.

• If the red LEDs and link lights are on and the card is still not recognized by the installer, open the Device Manager and check to see if the Xeno Gaming Adapter appears under System Devices.  If it does not, ensure the user is installing the most recent drivers.  If they are and the problem persists, an RMA is warranted.
