FAQ

What is the difference between a standard RMA and an EAR ( EVGA advanced RMA )?

Last Update: 2009/08/25

EVGA offers two distinct methods of warranty for your product.

Standard RMA

For the standard RMA you must send in your defective product to EVGA first. After EVGA received your defective product we will typically inspect it and ship your replacement in 1-3 business days. For a standard RMA the customer would pay for shiping into EVGA and EVGA covers free ground shipping of the replacement (US and Canada only)

Advanced RMA

EVGA also offers the EAR ( EVGA Advanced Replacement ) program. This is a program that is purchased when you register your EVGA product and is only available if you register within 30 days of purchase. The EAR program allows us to send you the replacement product first and requires a credit card for collateral purposes. We have various plans available for the EAR program and all of the current EAR programs include a free prepaid return shipping label.
