Why DX9? Isn't the whole point of having 2x GTX480 in Metro to run the game in DX11??

Because the Game runs like SH#* in DX11 even with 2 480's. And doesnt look THAT much better.
Id rather have DX9 Maxed out in 3D with high FPS then to have to turn down settings in DX11 3D (or suffer from crap FPS)

Yes. And mostly games are scaling in 3D Vision only in DX9. There is something named stereoscopic sli which works like sh!t on dx10.

I have windows Vista but it does not matter whether Vista or Win 7.

I have metro 2033 and 2 480s but when the 3d vision only works when I have sli disbaled for metro 2033. When I get ingame with both cards running and hit control T to turn on 3d the game freezes but the sound and stuff still goes on inthe back ground and I can move I just cant see anything because the screen is froze until I press ctrl T again. I don't know why its doing this as 3d vision words fine with both cards sli'd in all my other games.

metro should just use it. You have to turn sli on in your NV control panel.

Could somebody measure fps there, please?

Well, I could do that for you, but to be honest 'could somebody measure fps' is a bit void of content. Where do you want it measured? At what res? For how long? Which fps (avg, min, max)?

I'd be prepared to fire up any level you want at your settings in DX9 and monitor fps on my G19, but as you prolly are well aware, any fps measurement causes severe sync issues with 3D Vision, resulting in bad flicker of the shutters. So I sure as heck wont be doing it for long...

    Lemme know.

I am using fraps and it does not cause flickering on my PC. I can also capture stereoscopic videos with it (works only in DX9).

Just load some location and write which one it was so I can compare it with my current system (min/max/avg fps and fps graph would be awesome). It is possible that SLI is not working yet in Metro 2033, but in DX9 and 3D Vision it could work.

    Thanks.
