Guys, i just returned my 3rd Asus VG278H due to severe backlight bleeding and ovale shape in middle of screen, and now im tiered and fed up since my options for 27 inch 120hz monitor is limited to 3 brands only which is the Asus, Samsung and Acer. I don't like the Acer at all, but i do like the Samsung, only problem with samsung is that they use Glossy Screen for the S27A950 and im not sure how much of a problem reflection can be since i never used glossy monitor before. Long story short, what do you guys think? what should i do at this point?
can any of you who used the Samsung S27A950D  and Asus VG278h share your experience here so it might help me better with my decision?

So glossy reflection isn't that bad but you do have to control your lighting a bit. I just checked out the 23 inch verison of the samsung at microcenter last night and it is b-e-a-utiful. Unfortunatly the computer they had hooked up was broken so I didn't get to mess around with it too much. I've seen some issues with people have bad progressive bleeding in the bottom right corner, it's uncommon but can still happen. I thought they were supposed to have a 27in verison of the 750d as well? I beieve it's the same panel, just different stand.

I think it's worth checking out. My old HP monitor a few years ago had a glossy screen and the picutre just was better comaperd to the matte Acers I had. Colors are more vibrant, blacks more deep. I have the 23" Acer 120hz monitor and I really want to try out the 950d, I say get it.
    Edit: here's the s27a750d at fry's; http://www.frys.com/product/6776225?source=googleps

Now you got 4 options to choose from

I have the 27in samsung monitor.  The colors are beautiful on this monitor.  I do however have some light bleed in the lower right corner, and I think this monitor is know for the bleeding.  I only notice it on really dark areas when gaming.  As for the glossy screen, I never had a glossy screen before so I was scared to get one, but I have to admit I really never have run into a problem with glare.  I have 3 windows behind my screen too.  But if you have the sun shinning right on the screen you will run into problems for sure.  I give the monitor a 7.9 out of 10, it would be a 10 out of 10 if it was 1920 x 1200 res and no light bleed in the corner.

How much Backlight bleeding is acceptable for LED screens? I mean if the 3rd replacement for my VG278H comes with the same backlight bleeding then Im completely out of options and probably have to say goodbye to 120hz monitor for now and get something like this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001431&Tpk=p2770fh Also I never fully understood the whole response time in gaming, what does it do in real world gaming? also isn't the 1ms response time on P2770FH better than 2ms for Asus VG278H??
