Regional and Non-Transferable Mobile Device Warranty Terms and Conditions

EVGA Limited Warranty

This limited warranty protects your EVGA hardware product against defects or hardware component failures that may occur during normal use while inside of the EVGA warranty period. EVGA hardware accessories received with the EVGA warranted hardware product will also be covered by the terms included below. Accessories sold separately are not covered by this warranty and if applicable maybe covered by the warranty accompanying the accessory.

Warranty Length

These warranty terms are valid for purchases ON or AFTER September 1st, 2013 for the original owner of the product within the regions of the Continental United States, Mexico, and Canada.

EVGA offers limited warranty terms from the date of purchase to the original owner with a valid invoice from a EVGA authorized reseller. This warranty is for the original owner only and is non-transferable, non-assignable and is voided when the Warranted Product is transferred to another party. A receipt or invoice for the purchase of the product will be required from an EVGA authorized reseller showing ownership of the product if warranty support is needed, unless purchased through the EVGA.com online store. Registration is recommended by EVGA, but not required.

Warranty Terms

Product condition:

This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the Product by the Purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover:

• Mobile devices that are modified by customer outside of factory specifications and/or not in factory condition.
• Any damages to the components, hardware and/or assembly of the accessory including neglect, or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
• Any missing hardware, components and/or assemblies of the mobile device.
• Cosmetic damages deemed outside of reasonable usage caused by deep scratches, cuts, cracks, dents, discoloration, neglect, dropping or mishandling the mobile device.
• Opening the exterior casing of the mobile device.
• Cracks or broken glass and/or display panel.
• Mobile devices that are exposed to liquid, liquid residue or excessive humid environments resulting in rust, moisture, dampness, stains, corrosion or liquid spills on components, hardware or electronics.
• Direct usage of paint, submersion of the accessory in oil, use of adhesives or glues on any part of the mobile device.
• Exposure to cigarette tar residue, dampness, sand, dirt or excessive debris.
• Mobile devices that are rendered non-functional or usable due an accident, collision with an object or tool, use of excessive force, neglect for care, exposure to fire or abnormal heat, flooding, dirt, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, excessive weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
• Defects or damages resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by EVGA CORPORATION.
• The use of inadequate shipment packaging or use of inadequate packing material resulting in damages to the product while in transit with your shipping courier.
• Changes to the OS or Boot loader including but not limited to unlocking and rooting the device may cause this warranty to be null and void.
• Products received in a condition that is not covered under these warranty terms will be returned to the customer. The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. The customer may, with written consent, request to have the product recycled instead of returned.

This Limited Warranty covers batteries only if battery capacity falls below 80% of rated capacity or the battery leaks, and this Limited Warranty does not cover any battery if:

• The battery has been charged by a battery charger not specified or approved by EVGA CORPORATION for charging the battery.
• Any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering.
• The battery has been used in equipment other than the EVGA CORPORATION Tablet for which it is specified.
