EVGA Memory Warranty Terms
United States / Canada Warranty
EVGA will provide a warranty to each retail product and that the product will not suffer, in material or workmanship, from any defect that adversely affects the performance of the product.
Warranty Length
Limited Lifetime Warranty (EVGA DRAM Memory Only)
EVGA DRAM memory modules carry a limited lifetime warranty, which guarantees the products to operate, as specified by its datasheet, in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or extent of the warranty. EVGA will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. If EVGA is unable to repair or replace the product, EVGA will exchange with another product similar in functionality to the product under warranty.

EVGA DRAM Warranty Exclusions
- EVGA warranty does not apply to any EVGA product on which original identification information or warranty stickers have been altered, defaced, or removed. EVGA warranty also does not cover any product with damage that result from accident, misuse, neglect, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, natural disasters, unauthorized disassembly or modifications, improper installation or assembly, removal or reassembly of heat spreader, improper packaging or handling, insufficient or excessive electrical supply. EVGA warranty is also void under the following conditions: missing, damaged, or bent pins; missing, detached, or loose chips; damaged or missing connectors; damaged, detached, or missing casing or heat spreaders.
- Limited Lifetime DRAM warranty is provided to the Original Purchaser for EVGA products purchased from an EVGA authorized reseller with a valid proof of purchase. For EVGA products not purchased from an EVGA authorized reseller or for owners that do not have a valid proof of purchase then the warranty is available for up to 3 years, which will not exceed the warranty length assigned to the part number, and the warranty will start from the manufacture date. - EVGA will not be liable for, and does not cover under warranty: recovery of data; installation of EVGA products; inspection or testing costs; installation and removal fees; and general, consequential, incidental, or special damages which include, but not limited to, loss of data and loss of profit.

Transferable Warranty (Secondary Owner)
EVGA offers a transferable warranty for products so long as the product is in its original factory condition and retains all of the factory labels and stickers. The transferred warranty will not exceed 3 years from the products shipping date from EVGA and will also not exceed the original warranty offered on the product.

Warranty Terms
Product condition:
This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the Product by the Purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Memory modules that are modified by customer outside of factory specifications and/or not in factory condition.
- Any damages to the components, hardware and/or assembly of the memory module including neglect, or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
- Cosmetic damages deemed outside of reasonable usage caused by deep scratches, cuts, cracks, dents, discoloration, neglect, dropping or mishandling the memory module.
- Removing or relocating the heat spreader.
- Damages to the golden interface contacts.
- Memory modules that are exposed to liquid, liquid residue or excessive humid environments resulting in rust, moisture, dampness, stains, corrosion or liquid spills on components, hardware or electronics.
- Direct usage of paint, submersion of the graphic card in oil, use of adhesives or glues on any part of the memory module, usage of solder to the PCB, electronics and/or component modification.
- Exposure to cigarette tar residue, dampness, sand, dirt or excessive debris.
- Memory modules that are rendered non-functional or usable due an accident, collision with an object or tool, use of excessive force, neglect for care, exposure to fire or abnormal heat, flooding, dirt, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, excessive weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
- Defects or damages resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by EVGA CORPORATION.
- Products received in a condition that is not covered under these warranty terms will be returned to the customer. The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. The customer may, with written consent, request to have the product recycled instead of returned.
