How loud is the GTX 460 1gb EE? Is there a difference between the superclocked and the one with default MHZ?

Apparently many people say it's too loud while other say it's inaudible.

Here we have a guy saying that it's very quiet.
http://www.newegg.com/Pro..._-14-130-568-_-Product
"For those wondering about the fan, at 40% (The default auto) is not audible. 50% is a tiny ramp up. 60-80% is a buzzing sound and may bother you if you like to play games for hours on mute. Me though, my speakers drown out the computer sound completely."

And here we have someone who claims that his GTX 460 1gb EE is too loud:
http://www.newegg.com/Pro..._-14-130-565-_-Product
"Fan very loud, unacceptable for an EVGA product!
I will return this product and try the MSI one"

Also, both GTX 460 1gb EE and the GTX 460 1gb EE Superclocked seem to have the same cooler, do the fans also run on the exact same settings or is there a difference?

And last but not least, I found a youtube video where you can hear the GTX 460 1gb EE:

Is the fan supposed to sound like that or is it broken? If this is how every GTX 460 1gb EE sounds, then I think I'll pass.

This probably won't help since I have a 9800GTX+, but I always have my 9800GTX+ on 100% fan speed, and it's really loud, and I sleep with the thing on max, so it's not too too loud like a chainsaw, but it's just sort of loud. But if it is loud, then I suggest you get a noise canceling headset, I have one and when I'm playing games, all I hear is the game, I don't even hear my parents yelling at me.

It probably depends on how quiet your overall PC/enviroment is. I took great care in picking out quiet components for my PC so the fan noise from the 1GB will probably override all my other fans.

Noise is relative to the tolerance of the person who is listening. What one person says is loud may be quiet to another. Like for me I think a 470 with the fan at 100% on a bench is quiet. Someone else may come in and ask if someone is using a hairdryer. So if you don't like the noise you have two options. Water Cool the thing, or return it.

Well I got the 460 1gb EE on last monday.
1-it runs cooler then my gtx 280ssc
    2-gtx 280ssc idel 51c fan speed 40%-- gameing fan speed at 100% gpu 70c
3-gtx 460sc idel 31c fan speed 40%--gameing fan auto gpu 58c MY fan on auto--fan went as high as 62% max .

@Loveha hes right-- Noise is relative to the tolerance of the person who is listening.
But for me i think the 460EE 1gb is quiet and runs cool.I also gane 3000 pts on vantage every thing on stock.

I see alot of people complaining that the screwless clamps on different cases didnt work with this card because of the shroud too.Really doesnt matter to me  but that is kind of strange.
