When running a 2-Way or 3-Way SLI configuration, the last card would usually hang off the edge of the motherboard. This would cause conflicts with some system cases and modifications would have to be done to that new expensive case. The EVGA X58 SLI was designed with the enthusiast in mind. Feel free to install this motherboard in any system case you’d like and while your at it, go ahead ad add that 2nd or 3rd graphics card to finish of your extreme SLI rig!
