Very nice, subtle and to the point.

How long will it be before someone finds these elsewhere on the internet and posts them here as if we don't know about it?

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].

Wow those look amazing! The only thing that would make them better, is if Agent Tiny signed each of them personally. Yep, all 10 of them. (10 because that's how many people from these forums I expect to find them instock on launch day.)

Not too shabby. Package designers kept the aesthetics to a minimum, and I had a distinct feeling the GTX 4xx series would be infused with blue colors and overtones. It makes sense.

Then again, I don't understand why the "GTX 470" font is smaller than the "GTX 480" font and features a more illuminated black background design. It almost appeals to me as a "higher-end" product than the GTX 480 due to those aspects of design. Just my two cents.

eVGA's box art and GPUs are usually pretty good looking, they keep things concise, yet elegant. Yea, that's right. I said elegant...lulz. Anyways, I have NO funds for the 480 *cries*, maybe one day...haha

    Haha I wouldn't be so sure of that....saw this from Bit-Tech: http://www.bit-tech.net/bits/events/2010/03/05/cebit-2010-fermi-spider-cases-and-more/1

We also had a chance to speak with numerous Nvidia partners who were overwhelmingly confident of stock being available at e-tailers for the release later on the 26th of March so while we’ve no solid info on pricing yet, it looks like availability will at least be fair for Nvidia’s new offering.

And if you look at that little medal on the EVGA boxes.....that #1 ain't for nothin'....note to other board partners: get outta EVGA's way and let the big dog eat!

Although, the 480 will be a HUGE disappointment if it doesn't come with a backplate. And nice stickers. And yes, I still want the Classified version. That's when I'll buy one most likely.

@ Chizow, yeah true. But available is a variable. Look at the HD 5970s, they're "available". Hopefully Nvidia will be intelligent pricing-wise and for once will launch the worlds fastest Single GPU @ $500, then they would sell like hotcakes.

GTX 480 Box looks nice but I think it should have more of the rough sanding look like the GTX 470.

I might also point out that there is a HUGE typo on both of these boxes. "DDR5" should be corrected to "GDDR5."

All EVGA boxes use DDR instead of GDDR on the messaging.

Maybe EVGA could just sell just the boxes in the Accessories section, seems some people totally love them, maybe a new market opening up, i have said it before and i will say it again, EVGA could put their name on a rock and some people step over anything to buy one.

Not sure why there is no mention of DirectX 11 support on the front just the usual Nvidia propaganda stuff like PhysX, CUDA, 3D Surround...

Ah, that makes sense. I hadn't realized this until I pulled the EVGA GTX 280 box out of my closet. Thanks for the quick reply.
