My 750 died that came with the pc so I got this 850. Glad I had my nephew help who knows computers because at first the computer wouldn’t work . Then had to made a short between 2 metal prongs on the mother board to force it to start in bios and recognize the new power supply. Something I never woulda figured out on my own. And if I had anyone which 2 prongs or where to get that info, I’d write it here for you

EVGA reputation and price promotion for this 10 yrs power supply encouraged me to buy. Impressive build quality on inspection and some of the best out of the box soft flex cables I have seen, Cable ties, screws, and storage bag for ex-cables, easy install and well labeled. ECO mode makes for super quiet operation and great fan life. A kickass buy if I do say.
