The HDMI 2.0 port on the Z370 Classified K supports a resolution of 3840x2160 or 4096x2160 with a color depth of 8 bit per channel and full 4:4:4 Chroma support. Including full 4K Netflix playback (which requires a Kabylake or newer Intel CPUs and Windows 10).
*Chroma indicates the resolution of the color data for an image, independent of its grey-scale image. With Chroma Subsampling 4:4:4 indicates full resolution grey-scale and color (no compression), 4:2:2 is a full resolution grey scale image with a half resolution (full height) stretched image and 4:2:0 (the color compression technique used on all commercially available Blu-ray discs) is a full resolution grey-scale image with a 1/4 resolution color data overlay.
The Z370 Classified K board has support for HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.
The Z370 FTW has the support for HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 2.2
The reason for the difference is support is that the Z370 chipset, the Intel UHD 630 and Intel Coffee-lake Desktop CPUs in general, only support HDMI 1.4 and DP 1.2 with HDCP 2.2.
In order to have HDMI 2.0 support on the Classified K board, EVGA added a LSCon chip which converts the signal from the DP 1.2 to an HDMI 2.0.
