Some combinations of monitors and 900 series graphics cards may experience a loss of signal after POST but before Windows fully loads, or when waking from sleep. The system may recover from this state, but open windows and desktop icons may be jumbled or rearranged. This primarily happens over Displayport, but may rarely occur over DVI and HDMI as well.

This can be resolved by either doing a factory reset of the display via the display's settings, or physically unplugging the monitor's power for a minute then plugging it back in. Upon startup the system should boot and not lose signal.
