Firstly, the design of the mouse is sleek and ergonomic, making it comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions. The matte black finish gives it a premium look and feel. The mouse is also lightweight, which is great for quick and precise movements.
The wireless performance of the X20 is impressive. It uses 2.4GHz wireless technology, which provides a strong and stable connection with low latency. The mouse has a range of up to 30 feet, allowing for freedom of movement without any lag. Additionally, the battery life is excellent, lasting up to 30 hours on a single charge.
The X20 features a high-precision optical sensor with adjustable DPI settings, ranging from 800 to 15,000 DPI. This allows for smooth and accurate tracking, perfect for FPS, MOBA, and other gaming genres. The onboard memory also lets you save your preferred DPI settings, making it easy to switch between different sensitivities on the fly.
Customization options are plentiful with the X20. It has 7 programmable buttons, including a DPI adjustment button and two side buttons. The EVGA Unleash software allows for extensive customization, including button mapping, macro recording, and RGB lighting customization. The RGB lighting is subtle but adds a nice touch to the overall aesthetics.
One downside of the X20 is that it is only compatible with Windows operating systems. Mac and Linux users will not be able to fully utilize the mouse's software features. Additionally, the software can be a bit finicky at times, requiring occasional updates to resolve any bugs or issues.
Overall, the EVGA X20 Wireless Gaming Mouse offers a great combination of performance, comfort, and customization options. It's a reliable wireless gaming mouse that won't break the bank.

I did have some design issues though- the battery life isn't that great. It uses a rechargeable battery that seems to last about a week. I've tried tweaking the settings and "sleep" periods, but it didn't seem to help much. The mouse itself enters sleep mode after a few minutes of inactivity, and it takes several seconds for it to wake up. I got around this by lowering the inactivity time to 30 minutes, but it's still a bit annoying. Seems like this would be fixable with a firmware tweak.
The charger is my biggest gripe. It uses an older micro-USB port to charge...which is normally fine...but the charging port in on the front of the mouse inside of a cavity. This requires a "special" micro-USB cable with an elongated tip on it...so DO NOT LOSE THE CABLE THAT IT CAME WITH. If you do you'll have to order a replacement as these aren't standard sized cables.
Finally the button placement: I appreciate all of the extra buttons. The main mouse buttons and the wheel are all very responsive, comfortable, and satisfying to use. The side button laying though...the buttons are very thin and cramped together, leading to several misclicks. I can't imagine anyone fully utilizing these buttons as thin as they are...there's no way to click them accurately.
I know this sounds like a lot of complaints, but (other than the charging cable design) I would recommend this mouse...especially at this price point. It's very well constructed and does the job well (and in style!). Just be aware of some of the drawbacks.
The mouse wheel will eventually wear out resistance-wise, and then, when rolling the wheel, will rapidly switch between up and down, making it impossible to accurate select things with the mouse wheel.
For both gaming and regular web browsing, the type of failure made the device unusable. It made it impossible to zoom into web pages, use online maps, or navigate hotbars in video games.
Otherwise, the mouse was great and worth the price for all the other features and design motifs included. I suggest consumers look towards other budget peripheral brands such as discounted Red Dragon products with similar specifications.
