Thanks rludwic ...  I just did it really quick with Photoshop....

I know this is kind of off topic but what is the code for a clickable picture (insert a link into a picture). I'm trying to get my stability badge, linked to the the first page of this thread or my stability ss, like it was in the old forums. Every time I try it, it sends me back to the main page of the forums no matter what address I put in.... I've been working way to much or I'm just spacing out....yeah I know it both

[link=...][/link]

But that isn't your problem.

The problem is that you are linking to something in the old forums and using the old forum's URL.  The URL for the old forums changed and that is why it keeps kicking you back to the main page instead of the link you want it to direct you to.

Example:

Let's say this was your old URL:
http://forums.evga.com/tm.asp?m=101004044

Well, that won't work any more.  You need to change the "/forums/" to "/forumsarchive/".

http://forums.evga.comarchive/tm.asp?m=101004044

That is why all the links in the sticky index don't work and why posts transfered over from the old forum which have links in them to the old forum don't function.

Either will work.  I suggest you link to the stability page of the new forum instead of the old though since the old forum page won't ever be updated.

Sim,

I just did a check of the "new" LinX and appears to have a few bugs yet. I tried it on a simple 4.0O/C and it errerd. I rechecked LinX .06.3 (previous version) and it past. There are a few, not many, but a few complaints on the extreme forum in regards to this. You may want to consider backing off on using this for a requirement until the bugs are weeded out.

but i think the wait is over coz i got my MEGAHALEM yesterday...will swap it with my Thor's hammer (will miss it), which is already cracked a little bit on the top...well, not a crack exactly...but the top plate which is supposed to be clipped/soldered with one of the heat pipes has come off. maybe that's wat causing some problem with the heat dissipation!! anyways, great going GUYS!! will do the change over this weekend and test my rig if i can go up to 4.2...!!

one more thing: do any of you guys have problem using this website with your iPhone...doesn't work so well like the old one did!!

Gotta love older "B" batches... I was hoping this would do good and it did... working on 221 blk as I'm writng this.

Well... I went thru two Classifieds today one 760 and one 759... one seems to have a bad southbridge or whatever causes the keyboard an videodrivers to fail and when trouble shooting the problem stuck the chip in a 759 and there was some debris from somewhere that got into the socket and bent some pins when the cpu was clamped down... instant "FF"... bad day for motherboards!

This run was done on an EVGA SLI LE with quite a bit of voltage... but it works and runs cool with chilled water.

HiYa SimC33, I finally found these new forums, and got absolutely nothing done with my signature in about
2 minutes of trying old school editing without HTML, and failed miserably. Looks like I've got to pull up the stakes
out of the heart of my HTML knowledge and re-learn a bunch of things just to be literate here in this new place....
nothing seems to work the same, D'oh!

What's this about not having LinX 0.6.3? I suppose I could host it at my .Mac web site and put it in the Public folder there, and just let everybody download it freely, yah? Let me know if that sounds KUHL, and I'll get it handled tomorrow or Thursday...just depends on my work, and the time I have to fool around, which has been nil the past 2 weeks.

Anyway, just checking in here for the 1st time, after trying to help somebody straighten out an iPhone issue earlier, and now it's time for bed...no energy left to even gander at fixing my sig here, not to mention any more posts. Looks like everything has gone UP UP UP and AWAY!!! Good numbers from all the new people here...well, I'm building a new rig in my spare moments fwiw, and it's based on my X58 SLI x 3 first board, with some high-zoot SDRAM, a new Mega Shadow KUHLer which has been lapped, and some other trickery so hopefully that one will work out to be a high-planes drifter sort of rig, and blow the house down!

Take care, and good to see that this place is still happening like the virgin forest wildfires...!

OK, guys and gals, boys and girls, studs and studmuffins....

You can get yourself a fresh copy of LinX 0.6.3 from my iDisk up in Apple Space and time
but then again, who cares where it is, right? It's here, and you can get it anytime you want:

http://public.me.com/rexrzer

It's just that simple, navigate to the file in my Public Folder there, where I keep a few rudimentary
photos I am fond of for one reason or another, mostly drag racing and personal things, but at the
bottom of the iDisk you'll find LinX 0.6.3, and just click on the arrow there to download it, and BAM!
You're stylin' and able to pass the LinX iterations that you so much can't do with the new LinX/LinPack
application that is out, full of bugs apparently, and trouble for overclockeirs...

Now, I really am going to bed...good night, and God Bless, and may all the overclockers dreams come true!

I just CANNOT get this chip past the 4.2 mark...granted...I have new fans on their way to help out with this water cooling. But I wish I could at least not blue screen with a high 4.3-4.4 ghz...I wish I knew its sweet spot
