Alright folks, it's time to get prepared to shift over to our half a month tribute to brcromer in the same vein as how we did it last month.
 
brcromer went above and beyond the call of duty when he upgraded his original prize offer of 480GTX cards to 580GTX cards.  So, when the idea of boosting DutchForce's points was raised, brcromer was brought up as someone else who needed the same recognition. 
 
So, like last time, on or about the 15th of the month, I will be switching all of my folding clients over to brcromer for the remainder of the month, and ask that you join me in paying tribute to brcromer!

Actually it was 460 to 580 with a 460 but whatever.  I still need to get the cards to bneterasedmyname.  I ordered the 580 and I should be getting it today.  I figured I'd get it on Friday but I forgot about New Year's Day.  Hopefully it will come today and I'll overnight the cards to bnet.  I didn't forget about you brother!  It's always so sad to let those cards slip from my clutches but alas.

rjbelans created a dedicated passkey anyone participating in these points rewards can use (read through the earlier posts in DutchForce's Thank You thread).  For obvious reasons, you should give out that passkey rather than your own.

Once I get HeatStorm up and actually running, I'll make it one of 2 clients running for you.  Both CPU, both uniprocessor.  It's notorious for running bloody hot, but it can fold.

I'm in the same way I was for DutchForce. I'll switch over the one rig that I only fold GPU's on. Good for ~25K PPD for you.

Don't feel bad about it, Shurikenangel ... it's ok, you were very busy with your 1000th place "battle".

I felt that way once.  Give it time.

I've got HeatStorm singing a tune now.  Fans howling, chip usage bouncing all over the map, and smashing an uniprocessor work unit.

I reached 250K early on the 6th and have since been folding for a small group who needed a boost to reach full EOC stats reporting.  Apparently EOC will only give full stats reporting to teams above the rank of 1200.  So I, along with rcranfield, are trying to give the guys at W7forums.com a little boost.
 
I had intended to only give them Rig2, but decided to give them full force JD22964 help for a couple of days.  It hasn't even been 24 hours and I'm having second thoughts.  It's tough to go from checking your own stats every three hours to seeing nothing but zeros show up.  I'm going to try to give them 48 hours of both rigs, but as I said before it's pretty tough to keep logging zeros.
 
Sometime tomorrow I'll bring Rig1 back to team 111065 and then swap Rig2 over to brcromer later in the week.
 
One drawback to using the Tracker is the inability to split up clients on one machine...  I'd like more control there.  It'd be cool to be able to split up my 6 clients that are running on two rigs across all three people/teams I'd like to fold for right now.  It would be pretty cool if I could assign two GTS450's to the W7forum guys, 2 GTS450's to brcromer, and still keep the SMP folding and the GT430 for myself .

Thanks JD for all your help. :) Once our team reaches 1200 for team rank (hopefully before the 15th), I can start looking at 0's and donate to brcromer. After which maybe I'll start receiving EVGA bucks. I do have to keep my own team going though, Folding@Home Promotion on all website for the greater good.
