Hey all. ive been having a rough time the past few weeks and i thought some of you nice fellas could help me out/give me advice. you know. 
 
Well here's my dillema, it all started a few nights ago when god spoke to me and it was about bf3. he told me ive been playing it too long and am along a path of sin. i know some people dont believe in god and may not believe me but i truely do have a problem. 

I really don't know what to do, its not just god that is dissapointed. it's my whole faimly and friends(if i even have any anymore). I just got so caught up in the epicness that is bf3, i feel like i lost everyone in my life. I bet some of you will laugh and just say "aw stop playing video games and go hang out with your friends/family' but it's not that easy wen you have an addiction.
 
This all started, you know, when bf3 came out. Ive tried contacting ea support to try to cancel my origin account or remove bf3 from my account but you kno how that is. I played bf3 literally for moths straight, could not leave my computer. i even upgraded to 2 gtx 690s to play it maxxed out on my dell monitor. thats alot of money and that really bothered my wife, she said i didnt have priorities right and went to live somewhere else. im just so shaken and distraught...how could i let it come to this??? my parents used to call all the time but i was so busy with bf3, i just stopped picking up. now they dont call. i just got a letter recently from them telling me if i dont want to be involved in the family just tell them. it was more personal so ill leve parts out. And you saw earlier im not even sure i have friends anymore. No one talks to me. i just have internet aquiantances but that's not really the same. im so lonely.
 
Now i dont know if anyone here has ever went through hard times like this but right now im dealing with addiction, feelings of dissapointment from everyone i know and even the lord himself, and money problems...i can hardly afford my house, my pc uses so much electricity.  So please guys, can any of you help me with advice, reach out to me and tlel me what to do! im not gonna ask but it would be so nice if anyone donated so icould help pay my bills and get my family back.
 
im just so afraid of rejection..i dont want to be rejected by god and sent to hell...but im trying to worry about my more present problems. atleast thats something.

Most addicts that i know, (Of any Kind) make one big mistake:
When you have an addiction, you need to replace it with something.
 
What are you going to replace gaming with?
R/C planes and cars?
Shooting Trap?
Model building?
Downhill biking?

how do you know i didnt want to legitemitely play cow tail tag with him. sounds like a fun game. maybe billy could even help me with this lol. 
 
I was just asking for some help here.  Why do i only get negative replies? is it because im not part of your exclusive bf3 clan or something. i see you guys being helpful to everyone else who ask for help. now i get this

+1. Not cool, billy is a really good kid with a good heart and he contributes to the forums regularly.

Well he did get his computer hardware from begging so I wasnt completely wrong. I only brought it up once.

All im looking for is some good advince, i see you trying to help afterburner, but ive tried all these basic things you and others have suggested. i had a pc, sold it, but bf3 came out an it just sucked me back in. now with the amazing deal of bf3 premium i just want to play it mor and more. Im sure someone else here has a similar problem.

yeah well its good to have someone who understands. i guess we have a really similar problem. anyways, forget the donations i shoudlnt of even mentioned it. i wouldnt of accepted them anyways, i need to do this myself. 
 
and your solution just wont work for me...i mean i saw skyrim on steam(first tiem using it, i really liek origin) and i boguht it because of all the hype and goty awards, even tho i hate rpgs. so i play it and its just so boring, i seem like im just wandering around, alt tabbing every 5 mins to check where to go and what i have to do next. its too big, the world that is. i just wanna know what to do and get it done, thats how i like my single player games. i mean i was playin as a nord but i really wanted to use magic, it seems to only let me use two handed swords..i wish it didnt restrict you. if the world is so open why not the characters..
 
anyways...that's just why i cant seem to get off bf3. nothing else comapres..it looks amazing, sounds amaxing and its just everything every game should be. 
 
i know i need to stop but its hard, ya know.
 

actually, I think your trolling us, but oh well, heres my 2 cents. take some vacation days and go camping. somewhere without internet. sit outside and enjoy nature and life. soak it all in. relax. meditate on your god. before you leave put your computer on craigs list and when you get back take the highest offer imediatly without a second guess. then go work on getting your wife back.
 
and also get rid of that avatar. kinda hard to take you seriously with that face staring at me

dude that first line is not going to help your cause one bit, you'll come to find a lot of people on here like billy, and have his back, not just because of his situation but the way he has handled it for his age. he is a strong kid, and I think all of us could take a page out of billy's book. I think that is the best advice that I can give you, is to do what billy has done so far under the circumstances.

Iv'e always like the mass effect games. liara is so hot.

I only played the single player, 30 hours and i was done.

Sell the rig, buy a laptop (Not one designed for gaming either), and learn self control. That will solve most of the problems right there.

I wish I knew how good it looks with both cards. I got my 580 Classified not too long ago. Can't really afford at the moment to buy higher cards right now. Probably in early 2013.

 
Nope! No Skyrim yet! I will be playing BF4, Black Ops 2, and Medal of Honor (Warfighter) when they come out.

Ahh wow! I want those games too. I just preordered Black Ops 2 on Steam this minute since you brought it up, cnt wait for that to drop.

i really want to get my 60 bucks worth in skyrim tho,. i wish it had mp so i could kill some noobs hahahahahaha but anyways, anyone here have skyrim and give me some tips on how to play. its a really complext game.
