I was processing a 2684 and got a BSOD as it was compiling. I rebooted and tried a "send all" but it was lost. I started again and got another 2684 that finally uploaded to my relief. When I looked at my EOC, I couldn't see it (should be 80k points). I was pissed so I started to leave a message in the foldingforum. When I took a snip of the HFM screen, I noticed that the start time was 5 days ago. Adding 2+2 together, I realized that I didn't start a new 2684, I restarted the original 2684 with the original start time. Sure enough, EOC shows that I got the base 10k points. This is what I feel like...

SOB, that wouldn't be so bad on a standard SMP. For a bigadv that takes 2 to 3 days is terrible.

From the looks of it everyone needs to check the new WU's starting time when they need to flush an old unit.

I feel for you on your loss and thank for posting.

I have a question that is slightly related.

In the V7 Client, there is an option to finish the WU. However when finishing the WU, a new WU is still automatically downloaded. Would this present a similar situation, if you waited 2 days to start the client again?

I mean doesn't the starting time start when the WU is downloaded and not when it is actually started? If this is the case then so much for trying to stop the V7 Client for a few days while you need to do other things. I hope Standford realizes we need an exit plan that does not include starting back with already late WU's.
