With our new crunching team growing at a crazy rate, it's getting hard to keep track of all the new team members.  If you're joining us, please post in this thread to let us know you're here and what name you are crunching under.

Welcome!

hello, my name is Barbarossa, and I´ve joined the team as Urlauber.
Will be leaving for another one on Monday, and try to set it up on my Notebook before I leave.
Once I come back, I´ll add one of my 970s into the mix

Thanks for that post. I almost forgot about my Q6600 that's been idle for like ever. I'll mess with it a bit. It's my utility rig but the way this works, I'm hoping I can get it to go 2 of the cores and not notice the difference. It's running stock and 2X fermis for our other team, but sweet would be if could still pull some weight here as well.

Been here for a few days, 920 at 3.9ghz, crunching on 7 threads....  Can't seem to get my laptop to crunch without having a computation error, thinking of switching it back to FAH....

same name

Putting in double-duty for WCG and FAH.  All GPU's set to 'never' in BOINC.

Processor @ clock, % of processor/% CPU time, number of tasks/possible max. tasks, uptime comment

i5-2520M @ 3.0GHz, 75%/100%, 3/4, part-time during work hours
  -> No GPU folding
i7-2600K @ 4.4GHz, 87.5%/100%, 7/8, full-time (minus BF3 time)
  -> GTX560 folding
  -> GTX560 folding
C2D-E7500 @ 3.66GHz, 100%/100%, 2/2, full-time
  -> 9800GTX+ folding
  -> 9800GTX+ folding

On the two machines above that I use while crunching it works out that one core's worth of CPU bandwidth is left open.  More clients to come, going to try out on an AMD quad core system(s).

Great to see everyone joining up!  We've got quite a few that are participating in both WCG and FAH; it's nice to have multiple choices that let you optimize your hardware and your preferences for causes to attack.  I'm glad we also have created a new home for some long-time crunchers.

I can also see some great opportunities for the different project teams to support each other; for example, I will definitely switch some hardware from WCG to FAH or vice versa for competitions such as the Chimp Challenge.

OH yeah man for sure!! That is 100% the whole idea. We are just expanding the team...

I like to explain it like this...

Some times a Football team is one dimensional... And they are the best at it. Then they find the need to become Multidimensional...

That my friends is what we have done here... We are now a Multidimensional...
