Question / Issue
Performance Power Management

Answer / Solution

If you are getting errors in your event log related to performance power management on processor X    (X= Processor ID) There may be multiple instances.

This can be caused by power management features being disabled in the bios, options such as disabling "Turbo" or even "Intel Speedstep" can cause this error.

The error does not mean anything is wrong with the system, it is just a notification that the power management features are disabled.  Re-enabling these options will stop the error in the event log from happening in the future.
