The EVGA SC edition as such offers plenty of muscle to play today's games with good quality settings and Full HD monitor resolutions.
Good performance at a tempting price.
In most scenarios, EVGA's Superclocked was nearly able to match the performance on NVIDIA's GTX 660 2GB, a product that costs about $20 more. Unlike the ASUS and Gigabyte cards, a gamer will certainly be able to feel the difference between a stock GTX 650 Ti Boost and this card. EVGA also happens to have one of the best support structures around and when combined with the Superclocked's performance, that's a recipe for complete success.
All told, the EVGA GTX 650 Ti BOOST SuperClocked is a solid card for a good price. It has a better-than-reference cooler (which is quiet for a blower-type cooler) and it overclocks well, all of which lines up to make it easily Overclockers Approved.
EVGA's GTX 650 Ti Boost SuperClocked comes with a 92 MHz overclock out of the box, which is among the largest on the market. This gives the card a 6% performance boost over the reference design, which is quite significant, putting the card just 3% behind GTX 660 non-Ti.
The EVGA GTX 650Ti BOOST Superclocked video card's performance is incredible and comes close to the GTX 660 performance in some of the latest and most intense games such as Crysis 3 and Battlefield 3. Leaving the GTX 650Ti, and even the recently released AMD HD7790 far behind.
For gamers with 1080p monitors (or lower resolutions), the GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST is an affordable graphics solution with minimal compromise.
The performance of the card is impressive, GPU temperatures are solid and it has some overclocking headroom available!
When looking at the performance difference between the reference version of the GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost and the EVGA SuperClocked version, it was clear the additional clock speed really paid off.
