SSD”s are critically important for gamers due to the fact that even 1 ms latency can cause un-needed playing handicaps. Every second counts, especially in a FPS. Therefore SSD”s are the future and allow us to be better at what WE ARE. We are gamers and we need extra last bit of help to keep us current and on game. We will not be left behind in the era of HDD”s.

I had the chance to test out Blacklight Retribution first hand and after my experience, I”ll be playing it competitively when it comes out indefinitely.

One of the things I noticed was the damage airing on the side of realism, and the necessity for quick thinking and reaction time. As competitive gamers, having 60+fps and a quick computer can be the difference between life and death!

Simply put, having a SSD means quicker response and more action, and that”s time you can spend playing Blacklight Retribution,

Intel SSD”s are much faster with read/write, as everything is flash memory and there”s no need for the drive to spin through to find or write a single file. Of course, this means faster game loading — no more waiting for Payday: The Heist to start up!

SSD”s are substantially faster than traditional hard drives which result in much faster load times, and even an increase in FPS. With the Z68 platform, soon to be Z77, and the new X79, Intel Smart Response Technology allows user to set-up RAID with an SSD+HDD which results in large capacity and super fast speeds.
