Found this on my Vista machine after I logged of my dial-up... sti_trace.log Its an empty file, no text in it, and I found it in: - C:\Users\Matt\Documents
- C:\Windows
- C:\Program Files (x86)
- C:\Program Files
I deleted it, and ran a virus/spyware scan, came up clean. I got online to download some music later in the day (from iTunes), and it re-appeared roughly 4 minutes into my time online. I find this kinda strange... I used a program called Filemon (Sysinternals) to monitor my Hard Drive access, and I never saw a creation of 'sti_trace.log' on that log. On my XP machine I also found it in my Windows root directory, I deleted it, and the file hasn't come back since. Anyone else has this file? I know that it was included with Windows 2000 and was used as a system file, but I have never seen it before in XP/Vista.
