HaVoK-G2 -> Windows 7 / 790i Network Disconnect trouble (7/7/2009 11:30:02 PM)
|
I've been running Windows 7 a few days and have been coming across an odd problem. If I'm downloading under 500KB/s it's okay. But if I go over 1200+KB/s... within a few minutes the little network status icon in the bottom right of the toolbar will say network disconnected, or no network. Then I can't access the internet, or even my router. It's only fixed by restarting windows. I've tried going into device manager --> Network adapters --> Properties on the network adapters --> Disable / uncheck "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" on both of them. (Searched around and found that sometimes happened in Vista too) Also set the power scheme to high performance. I'm running the 15.35 Windows 7 nForce driver. 790i Ultra with p07 bios.
