Damn, where was this bad boy last week when I built my Dad's computer? I would have gone with this bad boy in a second over the FPB version. BTW, the normal 560 is not loud. Oh well, I guess this guy is going into my server as a folding cards.

Sweeeeet I see notify me so you can't purchase them yet. I really like the design of these cards. The 460 2WIN, this one, and I'm guessing the 570 will be similar. I hope they make a GTX580 3GB like this. I do have to ask though what's with the yellow strip?

EVGA_JacobF The fan noise is the same as the standard 560. Hmmm... thought it would be quieter. Goes to show that the vapor chamber provides some really excellent cooling. I wonder what difference there is temp wise? I don't think the 560 ever had vapor chamber... that was only the 570 and 580.

d-rock im adding this to my set-up for SLI. i have the fpb now, so i cant decide which while go on top or bottom. You'll have to put this one where it gets the best air flow (bottom would be my guess) and make sure your case has really good air flow. I had the 2win with my 580 in the next slot, looked sweet as hell, but the temps on the 2win skyrocketed. There's just no place for the heat go, so I moved the 580 down two slots and it worked great. I'm guessing the same will be the case here.

I know amazon lets you return something no questions asked for up to a month. Newegg would make you paya 15% restocking fee. Still not sure what everyone sees in Newegg.

UPDATE: I just spoke to a representative and she was able to RMA my card without restock fee so I'll purchase the 560 DS when they stock it. I still have to pay return shipping and shipping for when I order the DS but eh no big deal after saving $40~ on the restock fee. For a little while I was wishing I'd bought it from amazon or EVGA but I just read EVGA has a restock fee as well. XD So who thinks that was dumb of me and I should have kept the OEM version? Yeah I'm a little :( about having to wait longer but w/e it's $250 Id rather not have a regret this soon XD.

With two fans in lieu of one, it should run cooler. At the end of the day, with all these cards that exhaust heat into the case, it really comes down to your airflow. If you're gaming you should be fine, if you're folding you might have an issue unless you have great airflow. Personally, I think I'm getting one of these bad boys, it's either this one or wait for the 570 DS.

Needs to be clocked higher as many other makers now have cards with dual fans and 950 core. Good start though. Yellow is ugly even if it fits the yellow theme.

Forgive me if i've missed something here :) I had the same thoughts myself. The only thing I can think of is that at the same level of noise, you get lower temps or perhaps it can overclock higher with the dual fans. If that's not the case then one would be better of getting the older version since it has a rebate.

Well, the card looks cooler. I would think that with the dual fans you could get more before the need to increase the speed (meaning cooler at load) and of course it looks like it has the EVGA lite LED on the top of the card. But nothing beyond that, I guess for me the $30 is worth the cool look.
