As much as a love prizes for playing on the EVGA servers, it's just too soon for another event. It feels kind of half-assed, you know?

Care to elaborate? I don't understand how this event wasn't as thought out as the others nor how having many events makes it "half-assed." We just want to give gamers the chance to get together, have fun, and win some prizes.

Yes, all you really have to do is show up and you're in the drawing. I sort of missed the last event, so I'm happy to see this!

Would it be hard to host at least one server from Europe? It isn't fun to play with a ping of 200.

It is an option, but no one would play on it. :( It wouldn't get filled. We've tried to run events in the past with EU servers but the ending doesn't turn out well.

Just make sure the you get at least 10-20kills over the two weeks time, when you kill someone it will say  0/10 kills to get before the stats start tracking you.

Thanks for the invite EVGA.  Just wanted to add, We've ran a server, 2fort 24/7, and with our experience, we've seen tons of players interested in more on a 16-18 slot server, especially for 2Fort.  When we did anything beyond that, we hardly had visitors, soon as we changed it back to the 18 slot server..it was packed for many hours of the day and night.  Would you guys concider dropping the amount of player slots on a map like this?  More strategy? Less chaos?  Thoughts please.

I would like input on this from others. From my experience huge 2Fort games aren't too fun.. lots and lots of sentry guns.

We've ran our server since the beginning of team fortress 2, and has been very successful, the thing that makes it much more interesting, is class restrictions, no more then 2 of the same class's, more of a balance, and more of a strategic play on a map like that, i've had countless nights, with lots of fun.  Till this day we play on the same server, lots of regulars since day one.

Care to elaborate? I don't understand how this event wasn't as thought out as the others nor how having many events makes it "half-assed." We just want to give gamers the chance to get together, have fun, and win some prizes.

The decade event seemed very organized because of the little things like the thumbnails for prizes and new motd for the servers. The last event didn't have as much flair nor effort involved, but it still worked out because it was some time since the decade event. This latest one has the production values of the previous event with none of the unexpectedness. It's stretched over a longer period of time and really loses the excitement involved in the previous events. At this point, it just feels like we're giving out some hardware, not having an involved community event. Populating the servers is one thing, but you need to retain the benefits of the community past the free items.

Chances to win are the same. It's a random raffle.

I can't express how bad this is for long term population of the server when events aren't going on, and the totally random raffle won't be nearly as effective to over 2 weeks to fill the servers in the first place. >_>

As I've said before you need a long term event(Like this) but people need to actually work to be entered into the raffle otherwise as others have said your just giving away stuff and not actually rewarding people who play your server). Over a 2 week period anyone that should have any chance of winning should be able to put in 5-8 hours easily(Around 30min a day if you play everyday).

Anyways thanks for the event. ^_^
