I would agree; that's about what my 570 ran at before I added a 2nd....fan usually maxed at 44 which is nothing.

Now I have 2 570's running at 86 and 89 with fans at 64 and 78

Hey guys.  Just joined the team.  I've been folding for almost 24 solid hours now and about to fire up my second rig and start as well.  I have a question; how do I know if I am CPU or GPU folding.  There is a dos window running one the third large job of three.  It says Folding @ Home Gromacs GB Core Ver. 2.27... does this mean anything to anyone?

I've used both and they are both very easy to set up.
              I'd probably go with v7

All you need to do is enter EVGA's team number when you configure the v7 download.
                  (111065 is our number)
In these forums fo to your profile and make sure your folding name is the same as your forum name (so you can earn EVGA bucks).
That's it. Welcome to the team!

Just started folding for EVGA, I've been folding for awhile under another username but it appears I need to change my donor name to match my evga profile name to get evga bucks - is there anyway to change my evga profile name to match my previous donor name?  Both are well established, and I don't really wanna "leave" either of them :)

Been thinking about joining up with the team since I been hanging out here more now days.
I been folding since 2001, started back when Abit was still alive and making motherboards.
I was what I guess you would call the team captain back then for Abit USA folding team.
I'm still folding under the old 13285 team number, but there is really no team any more.
Almost everyone has parted ways, only a few still fold under that number.
Most are "I think"just rigs that have been forgotten folding is on and are still running without know its there. lol
Anyways I'm thinking of swapping over some or all of my rigs to EVGA's team.
I'm not up on the fold client now days as I use to be when I was helping members of our team. So I might needs some help.
At the moment I'm using a mix of clients some old and some new.
I really like the old dos clients because I can monitor all the rigs on one main rig with software of course.
I haven't yet found a way to monitor the new client with the same software.

Just wondering what all I will need to do to get started on the EVGA team? I know change the team number.
                                But is there anything else?
As you can see my folding name there and here are the same, so that shouldn't need to be changed in the client.cfg.

                                  welcome wolf

I still fold for the Nvidia U2U team.  I still do to motivate and get members to fold for Nvidia too

the standard clients still use flags to control in the command string and people use HFM to monitor them all(all rigs)
you can use the tracker FAH GPU TRACKER and still monitor with HFM

you can use v7 beta client from stanford it should also do the same (this is your best bet if you have ATI cards)

other than chosing your client and adding your team number and Passkey (for SMP bonus) there isn't much to do
just fold away and I look forward to seeing you in the forums and in contests

be a good idea to check out EVGA crunching team too

I'm new to folding, and just started earlier today for Team EVGA.  Only doing GPU apparently, but something's better than nothing I guess.

                                      Thanks for the welcome.

Ya I have V7 beta on a couple rigs, but haven't been able to find a way
to add those to HFM so I can monitor those with it.
Got one WU turned in for 3k+ w/ GPU WU, but that cards is down at the moment.
Had to break down that rig to send the motherboard in for a replacement.
My stats where already down because of that build with the SR2.
Had to break down 3 rigs to get parts to get the SR2 running.
I'll get those rigs back together in the next day, I'm dead tiered after 24hrs of straight OCing and testing. lol
I do need to find the energy to go out to the Wolf Den/man cave/shop lol to change over a few with this team number.
I did have 17 actave clients, not sure what I'm down to at the moment.

I don't think stanford can move the points over from one team to the next or from one member on one team to a new account for another team
(for all accounts they are non-transferable)

when you switch teams you start of fresh for each one ,

This I know. I was saying that since I'm admin over that I can change the name to what ever I wish.
Say EVGA-Contest or something like that if need at some point. Like I said its pretty much dead and
dough anyone who is still folding would care what its named since there is no contact between any of
us few that still use that account to fold under.

I would just leave it...fold over there once and awhile - encourage growth there.  You can also persuade those to fold there and here too, much Like I do for Nvidia.

I know exactly how tough it is for small team  Nvidia U2U team has about 10 active folders (out of about 200)

Wow checked my states at 3am at EOC 9,900 but the Folding stats page shows 16,917.
Wonder why the other 7k points didn't show up at EOC?
I'm pretty sure they will at some point.
