Trying to boot my PC and it will not. It displays the CPU in the bios, then freezes. Nothing happens. Post Code 50 displays. I think it should be displaying the memory next, but it does not. I unplugged ALL USB devices. Tried that. Took everything apart and put it back. PSU is fine. I had it all running, but then I shut it down (WINDOWS 7 x64), it installed 40 updates, I tried to put in additional HDD, and then it wouldn't boot. It was an IDE drive that I did not have properly set to "cable select" mode like I Should have.
Anyway, I moved all the RAM around and then I found C1 errors as well when it was is certain spots. It will not do anything when it freezes at "50." It will reset with a button press, but when I get a C1 error - it can only take a manual turn off.
I reset CMOS, did the battery thing as well. I have no idea what else to do. I'm all out of options. I took out all USB headers, etc. I only have MOBO, RAM, and CPU. Everything else is unplugged (it has integrated graphics). I just want to at least get into bios to flash it to the new bios.
With all the memory in, I get F1, C1, and C3.
Now I'm getting 0C, with two memory modules in.
