Quick question:

If you have more than 1 card on your list, and you check both boxes, is it $4.95 total (regardless of how many cards you have) - or is it $4.95 each (ex: $4.95 x 2, with two cards - for a total of $9.90)?

Edit: Also, how do these brackets differ from the ones which would be used on the GTX 480? Are they compatible?

Where's the GTX 480 bracket love?   

And when can we expect to be able to buy the backplates?  Would like to try and consolidate on shipping & handling fees if possible.

My GTX470s show up for this, but I don't see the option for my GTX465.

We were referring to a separate bracket since we have a GTX 480 already.  I would like to buy the backplate separately too.

both the cards should be able to use the same bracket.

Yep its the same bracket, but this promotion was the one hinted at Computex by Bit-Tech, then denied, then confirmed/denied etc. and finally confirmed now that the bracket will be free, user pays S&H.  Backplate will not be free.

But its tied to your account and registered products like ELEET and OC Scanner, so if your account is not flagged for the promotion, you're not eligible to get them free.  480 users need a similar page and account flag to qualify for the bracket as the one in the OP is for the 470 only. 

My guess is they're still getting stock of them and only had an initial limited quantity. I'm torn between waiting for the general listing in accessories or just getting four of the single slot brackets already available in preparation for going water in the future.

My guess is they're still getting stock of them and only had an initial limited quantity. I'm torn between waiting for the general listing in accessories or just getting four of the single slot brackets already available in preparation for going water in the future.

Well it makes sense in regard to time sequence, the 470 SC+ came out a few weeks before the 480 SC+ so following that release schedule it'd make sense the 470 brackets were made available before the 480.  What doesn't make sense however from a #'s standpoint is you would think they would've sold more 470 based on pricing, so it would be harder to fill 470 bracket orders compared to 480 orders. 
 
But ya the single slot bracket isn't a bad option especially now that Ground Shipping is free.  Although I'm not sure how the S&H is being handled with the 470 brackets if its automatically $5 for each so $15 for 3 or if its $5 for all 3.  Pretty big difference if its $5 or $30.

You could, but not without voiding your warranty (unless you managed to source another original backplate if you needed to RMA).
