1.93 OSD bug

Since I've upgraded from 1.92 to 1.93 the floor in Startrek online is constantly moving when I'm using the OSD. When I turn OSD off the floor stops moving. Dunno what the problem is. (-: FireFox:-)

Try to disable 3D OSD rendering mode in OSD server and see if it helps.

That worked, thanks Unwinder :). 1.92 did work and 1.93 doesn't so, the programmers introduced a bug somewhere. (-: FireFox :-)

FireFox11 1.92 did work and 1.93 doesn't so, the programmers introduced a bug somewhere. No, that's users just didn't read the the release notes. ;) 1.9.2 doesn't have an optional 3D mode, 1.9.3 does and if it were supposed to be compatible with every 3D engine, it won't be controlable and disableable in the options. Create a profile for this game and disable 3D for it, or just disable it globablly.

Had the same issue..Didn't take long to figure it out tho (since it's a new feature, amazing how new things can cause problems)..I love Precision, but it really should have been designed to be OFF instead of ON by default so the program is more compatible out of the box (so to speak) or "as is"..Oh well..I can just see alot of first time users of v1.9.3 saying "Wow, I just downloaded and am running EVGA Precision and now my graphics in some games are alllllll screwed up, **** ?" (exactly like Firefox11 pretty much said).
*Cooler Master NV-334 * EVGA 790i FTW * Intel Q6600 (G0) lapped @ 3.6GHz * Corsair H80 * Seasonic M12II 750W * 2 x 2GB Patriot Viper Extreme PVS34G1600LLKN * EVGA 9800 GTX @ GTX+ SSC * WD 500GB Caviar Black * Win7 HP 64-bit * "If it ain't broke, fix it untill it is" "There is no measure of health in becoming well adjusted to a profoundly sick society" "ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) should be a convenience store, not a government agency" Thanks, to the cool ppl I helped that PM'd a Forum Moderator and requested me a Blue Ribbon.

bob16314 I love Precision, but it really should have been designed to be OFF instead of ON by default so the program is more compatible out of the box (so to speak) or "as is"..Oh well..I can just see alot of first time users of v1.9.3 saying "Wow, I just downloaded and am running EVGA Precision and now my graphics in some games are alllllll screwed up, **** ?" (exactly like Firefox11 pretty much said). Have to disagree. It is ON by default because there were A LOT of beginners ignoring the release notes and unhappy that OSD is invisible in DX10 when antialiasing is enabled. And I spent more than the month of my work time on this feature upgrade just to add a feature able to reduce appearance of "where is my OSD, wft?" questions in the forums. And talking about compatibility with different games, it is fun and sad at the same time because I introduced this new OSD mode in both Precision and Afterburner and offered both user communities to take part in testing in a few _months_ prior to releasing it to public. We tested almost 150 most popular games with Afterburner community and added compatibility for all games we could find. Nobody of Precision community wanted to move a finger to test the games you play. Nobody. So what are the reasons to be unhappy now? And as always with new versions of Precision results just in unhapy comments like "you should do it differently, I'm returning to old version" in the forums. Demotivates future development a lot. Irony, I was just talking with Jacob about possibly unlocking a bit more of power user functionality and giving software automatic fan control as the next 1337 hidden function instead of 2D/3D profiles manager. Guess I'll stay away from it, too sad first to invest a lot of free time then to be blamed for that, sorry.
