Peter "Shamino" Tan met up with Vince "k|ngp|n" Lucido in Detroit for some extreme benchmarks, here are the fruits of their labor, new world records for all levels of 3DMark Vantage!

This world record was obtained with 4 x EVGA GTX 480s in 4-way SLI + EVGA Classified SR-2 motherboard on Liquid Nitrogen!

Well, the main issue is the memory controller on the chip, even at LN2 cooling it can catch a voltage spike and fry. These are just Bench runs, you do not run a setup like this for any real length of time. I have not played with LN2 since I was at RIT where we had a huge supply of it.

Were the GPU's LN2 cooled as well, I new the CPU's would be but was not sure what they did to run 1050 on the GPU core

It would be interesting to see how long it would last.
My bet it wouldn't make it to 24hr mark before something would pop or fry.
