Question about the length Sunday, August 26, 2012 8:56 AM (permalink)
I noticed the length of this PSU is 200mm,   I'm not sure I can put this monster into my case if the length is not include the handle.
So my question is if the length include the handle? and the handle is removable?

Why is lenght of handle so important???
Handle is outside of case throw hole on backside of case. Only if your case is realy close to some wall or...

No, the length of the handle is not included.  The handle protrudes 45mm or thereabouts out of the back.  Yeah, the handle sucks...I can't find any way take it off as I believe it will void the warranty.

However if there IS a way, I would love to hear about it.

Johnny want to cut handle and for me that is preaty cool thing.
I can say I like that. It's realy different and nice if you go on some HW testing and need to wear PSU and you can hange cables and preaty nice for me. That and big switch on back side is relly cool as whole PSU impression.

I'm glad you like the handle.  The fact is that most people will never need it.  I am sure the handle was "Kingpin" inspired since he usually has his sitting on a desk while he is benching.  Most users will, however have this in some sort of case.  I think that have the option of removing would have been smarter.

I notice later you have PSU in different position in case maybe because of that. I count like in 650D/800D cool silver hand on backside look really cool. I don't think to hold that when remove case to clean from dust but anyway it's cool.
For HW testing only need bag with cables, llittle bag for PSU(awesome) and easy.
Incredible HW and picture next to AX1200 is full hit.
I think all who talk about Strider and CM SP G are stay silent that moment when pictures and video show up.
