Yay, I'm guessing drivers supporting them will be on geforce.com any second now?

I gotta be honest this card is priced at $300 and has almost the same specs as the $400 GTX 670 (except a slower 192-bit bus) which was already really close in performance to the GTX 680. Seems like an awfully big price gap when all three cards are based on the same GK104 GPU.

I do wonder how the 3gb version was made, does it have a different PCB layout, or did they use ram chips with 1.5 times as much ram, or a mix of x1 and x2 ram chips? or something else?

Here in the UK, the price between the 660 TI and 670 is very little.

what's with EU price? 300$ vs 325€ for same, entry model?

with current rate that would be ~400$ for card here in EU

That's the thing the other 600 series cards has 256 bit, plus the 680s have 200 more phase. That's a big difference to me. I would think that this is a good card for ppl that really can't afford the other 600 and even 500 GPUs.

Really?! You release a 660FTW version with 3GB of vram, but you won't release a 670FTW with 4GB of vram.

                I hate you!

it's $300 to start, more if you want the extra ram, factory OC, backplate and whatnot.

Love that these all come with the high flow bracket and that they are 3G for such a good price point.

I might have to get this card just for physx and IMO better features. Wonder how this would do compared to my 6950 flashed to 6970. I think I will just sell my 6950 and get one of the 3GB when they release.

Very cool they decided to add 3 way support on this compared to other X60 cards.

When will the 3GB version be up for sale?

There is a notify button on the product page for a reason.

Only EVGA knows the answer to this. They will chime in as I am certain they know this is a question many will ask. Keep an eye on this thread or any others relating to the 660 and at some point we will get an answer..

Really?! You release a 660FTW version with 3GB of vram, but you won't release a 670FTW with 4GB of vram.

                                          I hate you!

Well there is the 670 4gig SC, and is still lower than 1 680 lol.
But the 670FTW is based off the 680 PCB. That is why I bought it. So is the 660FTW based off the images.

On a related note, anyone else madly check Geforce.com for the latest drivers for this card? I'm hoping it contains more than just support for GTX 660ti.

I still wished that our 600 series wouid've had 384bit and 3gig per higher 600 series high end GPU for the 670 and 680 Vanillas, but that my opinion.

First "benchmark" of the EVGA SuperClocked 660ti:  http://www.pcworld.com/ar...ndered_affordable.html  (3dMark, P8489) - all comparisons were to the AMD cards though, not a 670.

                                                http://www.tomshardware.c...rk-review,3279-17.html
                                                660ti is 7.4% faster than a 580.
                                                670 is 26.5% faster than a 580.

At 1080p, I'm seeing the benchmarks at something like 6fps difference between 660 and 670, curiously though, they aren't testing against a 680.

Tom's Hardware basically says that the 660 is a AMD 7870.

At £250 for the cheapest EVGA 660 Ti as Scan in the UK, I say: "No sale".

I have friends waiting for the 'mid range' to arrive so they can afford to upgrade and at these prices, they will not buy.
                                                  Ridiculously expensive.

Looking very nice. I will be getting a 3GB once they release. Even if I take a hit in performance I want the features, and still have triple screen on one card.

Plus Borderlands 2 is just a bonus in the price because I was gonna buy it anyway.

At £250 for the cheapest EVGA 660 Ti as Scan in the UK, I say: "No sale".

I have friends waiting for the 'mid range' to arrive so they can afford to upgrade and at these prices, they will not buy.
                                                        Ridiculously expensive.

                                                        Where is the mid-range?

This is about as mid-range as these GPUs are gonna get for Gods sake.
